AIR Artist Memberships Are Now FREE!

The Australian Independent Record Label Association (AIR) is proud to announce that, effective immediately, it will waive membership fees – normally at a cost of $165 inc. GST, for its Independent Artist category. AIR is the peak body for the independent record industry, and provides members with knowledge, connection, advocacy and exposure to the market.

As members, artists will be able access AIR’s events and professional development opportunities, and take advantage of many other benefits and discounts. As well as this, they have the exclusive ability to nominate and vote in the annual AIR Awards – all for free!

This free membership comes at a time when artists need it most – with the live and touring sector still unstable, artists’ sources of income have dropped dramatically. Anyone wishing to sign up as an Artist Member for 2022 can join via the AIR website.
